Ah yes....I believe those "split omni's" were in a "WTF" pattern, which always seems to result in a fine recording. Wouldn't you say ol' chap ---------- "throwin' pennies on the tracks and playin' in the rain...oblivious of the world around us that was going insane"
I watched one episode of Sopranos -- and that was all I needed for my lifetime. :-) So, Scott, I am right there with ya. ---------- Nothin' like a little front porch soul to cure your blues!
Forgot to mention the freekin MORTAR fireworks going off during the Dumpstajam, not 50 feet from the stage. They were setting them off up in front of me & dude, right up through the trees... BOOM, lighting up the sky. Where the hell else you gonna get THAT during a show?! Listen for them sporadically throughout the set...

I had never heard these guys, but I sure am glad I checked them out! Some serious jammed out retro funk here, reminds me of some old JB's or something. This was the first of their two sets, and was on the sweetwater stage in the indoor music hall. Sit-ins by Skerik, Ivan Neville, Papa Mali & Kofi. I still need to figure out the setlist and who sat in where.
Pardon the fade in at the beginning, classic taper gaffe. If you want to record the show, you should actually hit RECORD, right? Oh well, it was 1:00am and after that Dumpstajam my brain was definitely not hittin on all cylinders... All that said this recording is CRYSTAL clear, one of my best of the weekend.
So thats it, the last set I have to upload. I wasn't on a mission to record every set there like some of the uber-tapers there, just the stuff I was interested in. Hope ya'll have enjoyed the tunes, can't wait to do it all again!

Mastersounds recording is excellent. Sampling a bit. Wish it was one of those relaxing evenings where I drink wine, relax, and take it all in. Funky Brits, eh?? ---------- Nothin' like a little front porch soul to cure your blues!
