I'll be posting the links as I upload these, first up:
JJ Grey & Mofro As expected the band brought the HEAT for this one, and Mojo & Junior with all the guests will floor you... Im digging this recording, be careful with your bass control, AKG Omnis drop that QUAD!
(Due to a slight user error on my part, the last few song titles in the player are off by one (dew drops wasn't played), but the actual files are all correct. I have submitted a request for that to be corrected.)
More soon!

Thanks Scott!:) I listend to this show at work today via the LMA player, it REALLY helped to add a shine to my dreary day!
I have contemplated learning the ins & outs of taping, but I am terribly prone to disasterous accidents and I fear what sort of damage/injuries I could inflict with a mic!:p Lol!
a hooker is within reason? I don't wanna know whats outside reason...
yo and you guys are better with the tech shit ( I be the first one to admit it) , us ladies are better with drooling in front row, but if any of you guys ever want to do some drooling in the front row, I can watch your shit/setup!
Thank you very much! as well as every other taper and band who's been so kind. Ya'll haven given me such a fantastic hobby. JDude and Klowe and Mofro and Bram started it all for me.
Ooh, I'm finally listening to the Mofro show! This is a great way to spend a Saturday night. Drinking wine and jammin to Mofro at some magical locale. Bear Creek, that is.
JJ is blowing my mind with his talkbox at the beginning of Jookhouse. And listen to Dennis tapping that brass! ---------- Lochloosa is on my mind.

Hahaha. I'll let y'all think I was being clever. ;-) Can ya believe this was a whole week ago? Can ya believe we only have 5 and a half weeks til New Year's??
I KNOW! Me and the trophy wife were listening to this earlier this evening and we both were blown away. EXCELLENT RECORDING SKOT!
With Skerik on Sax, Big Sam on Trombone, Kofi Burbridge on JJ's nord and Flute, Matt Grondin on Guitar, Chris Bell on Harmonica, Clay Watson on Trombone
Hey, Brother Clay...I been in and out, about and around. Listening to the Z. Deputy set from Bear Creek right now. Nice sound. Sounds like fun. Thanks Scott.
I talked with JohnDude yesterday and he told me about this cat. He RAVED about him. I haven't listened yet, but from what JD was saying I'm looking forward to.
Oh...one last peek before I'm off to bed tells me that only you and ants are left. Somebody from S. Korea googled 'JJ Grey & Mofro t shirts' about 15 mins ago. Giggles last hit a page at 2:05; think she's zonked. Jeebies, sat nites are always the slowest, but tonite is exceptionally slow.
Happy sandman you 2.

Hell yes, glad ya'll are diggin the tunes! Can't wait to check out the Thurs Zach set JD, LOVE this guy!
Just got my photos uploaded, not many, but worth checking out. Not sure how to embed here from Kodak Gallery, but they've got a pretty slick little slideshow viewer anyway. Im the cheesin dude with the mic stand. Make sure ya'll check out Beaufro & Sara? doing yoga in the field. Woke up to that on Sat morn and had to snap a shot.
Working on PGroove now, link coming soon...
PS - Can't believe no one commented on my Quad City Knock Ghetto Booty link. Thought I'd at least get a WTF out of that one, especially from you night owls ;-)

What a fantastic looking road trip that looked like- and great to put a face with the man spreading the Mofo tunes. Mad props to you & many thanks for your recordings
Hey skotdee, I definitely thought, "WTF" but I didn't know what to say about that link. WTF?? Great photos. I would not have known to bring a swimsuit in the middle of November. That yoga was amazing! They are pretty advanced! And again, great recordings. Isn't it a shame when a show does not get recorded? Look at what all we miss out on.
Scott, I really enjoyed your slideshow, the photos captured the atmosphere, energy and magic of the weekend & invited the casual observer right into the moment of image!
Clay, I tried to participate in the "night owl" banter last night, but after imibing an entire bottle of White Cabernet Sauvignon, my computer started acting up on me. The letters on the keyboard were not where they were supposed to be, causing me to type gibberish. Oh and my monitor went on the fritz too, the words just kept jumping all around on the screen!

Oh man, that is a great slide show skot. Y'all...he's really much uglier in person.
I can't figure out how to embed the show either. It doesn't seem to allow that option.
Yeah giggles, as y'all have figured out, the times are Pacific. I signed off at 2:35 this morning, Eric chimed in at 3:03 and lord knows antsy was probably sittin' there wishing somebody would post something.

To date there are 12 shows from various artists at Bear Creek up on the archive. Live recordings from Bear Creek (There's one on there from a Bluegrass band back in March in Ohio; I dunno how it ended up on there. I didn't make the list, I found it on someone's blog.) ---------- MofroFan1

I was listening to the Bear Creek show yesterday, when I heard a knock on my door......so I slowly opened it, assumed the most innocent and bashful expression I could pull off, and was armed & ready with a somewhat tepid apology for disturbing someone's Sunday peace. I was expecting a ranting, raving neighbor ready to breathe brimstone & hellfire on me because I may have had the music up a tad too loud, but to my great surprise it was the guy down the hall asking what I was listening to. He said that he was really enjoying it and "needed to get a better listen". Needless to say, I sent him back down the hall with his very own, freshly burned copy of Scott's wonderful recording. Since yesterday, I've heard neighbor-man playing it multiple times:)

The skies opened up for this one, the hardest it rained the whole weekend. Thank God I had just enough cover to keep my gear dry... Sick Fatboy Slim "Praise You" cover at the end of this set.
JC's set coming tonight!

I thought the mix was a little heavy on the high end for this, but it still sounds pretty dang good. As usual Eugene & company tear shit up proper like. LOVE the Sam Cooke "a change is gonna come" cover. Listen for the airplane fly over, sounds cool on headphones...
Up next, Dumpstaphunk, maybe the funkiest band on the planet.

Just got around to listening to a bit of these last three shows you posted, Scott. That's good stuff! Really diggin' the PG set. Thanks again! Especially for braving the weather! ---------- Nothin' like a little front porch soul to cure your blues!

Oh my goodness, coming onto this thread and finding skotdee's newly added recordings is like getting Christmas gifts a little early:) ---------- everbody moving, everybody grooving, everybody lettin' it all get loose
OK here it is folks, in my opinion, the "centerpiece" of Bear Creek. From "Miss You" through the end of the set, this was some of the most amazing music I've ever seen, at Suwannee or otherwise. There was some serious shit going down on that stage. Too many guests to mention here, but my MVP might have been Derek Trucks, who completely ripped it up and left the stage smoldering in a pile of ash & dust. (pardon the hyperbole, I tend to pour it on in my decriptions)
This one comes with a fun story. Listen to the intro at the beginning of the show. John Dude & I are hangin out, got everything ready to roll, and just before the band took the stage this crazy ass wind storm came up out of NOWHERE. You can hear acorns falling out of the Oaks and hitting the tin roof over the soundboard. Listen for JD, "are those acorns falling?" Next thing we know, mic stands are falling left & right. Thanks again Dude for a GREAT snag that kept mine from toppling to the ground. "Caught it in mid air!" Then I had to catch the taper's next to me. Shit was NUTS. So for the first minute or so of music we had to totally reset everything. It takes me a few to get everything balanced out, but from then on we were DEEP in the Phunk.
As ususal I got the song titles all jacked up in the player, but its all there. Go get yer Phunk on.
Oh, and a little geektalk for us tapers, I ran the split omnis again for this one so get ready for some more QUAD.

you're right, that was the phunkies-ass shit that weekend. I like the soprano title cover . ---------- "..they outta outlaw airconditionin' in clubs, let mothafuckas sweat aaaall night looong .."
its towards the end ( the 2nd night jam ) they do a cover of " unfortunate son" they go into something else in the middle of that song 'woke up this morning and I got myself a gun, woke up this morning with a boom-boom in my eye" than they go back to 'unfortunate son'.
its abslolute KILLER PHUNKY awesome ---------- "..they outta outlaw airconditionin' in clubs, let mothafuckas sweat aaaall night looong .."
I can't wait to hear this! Thanks for all this stuff skott, man, this is all so great.
You never watched the Soprano's??? What, you don't get cable?
