So I wake up this morning and my dog was running around going crazy. I kept hearing her jump on the fence, yes she has now learned to jump UP on the fence and hang out up there. Won't be long before she is over the fence. She had this Coon up there for hours. Cur dogs are known to "tree" coons and hunt pig. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, this dog is NUTS!!! The only hunting she will ever get is the back yard. But at least she keeps the squirrels and the coons away from my mango tree.

her name is Sedona. she is such a sweet dog with people and children, adores children, but is a total Alpha when it comes to other dogs. She is downright scary in action!! She can really open up her can of whoopass this dog!!

I froze some mango from the summer and made some mango Chicken Curry the other night Sunshine.. it was indeed wonderful! I have banana trees and a mango tree. I want to plant an herb garden, grow some tomatoes and plant some citrus trees this year.. hoping I stop procrastinsting this time. It's hard in Florida we gots lots of critters that likes to eat our food. I planted a pineapple and woke up and it's gone! damn coons.

mango chicken curry, wow, that sounds amazing!!

when I lived in Florida we had a pink grapefruit tree that was huge, and just about every one was seedless and super sweet! I miss that tree. No tropical fruits up here, but we get plenty of other things to grow. We actually still have a mater plant in the hoop house that is STILL spitting out maters!! They usually stop in Septemter some time. Now we have lettuce and collards coming in...

Ummm...I think Sunshine is referring to a TOMATO. But seeing as how I am a Yankee and not up on on all my "southern speak", I could be really wrong!
