Conrad Oberg (the "blind kid") that sat in with the band at the Freebird for New Year's will be having a show in Lakeland, Fla on Feb 20.

His dad ("Fatdaddy111") sent me an email and asked if it was okay to post something about it. I said HELL YEAH!

He got me fired up about it for sure. He said:
"The Music Ranch in Lakeland, FL. The venue is the coolest thing ever, the owner Phil Stevens built his own indoor 300 seat music venue on 10 acres of land in Lakeland. I know that MOFRO fans would love his show, it's very high energy and a blast to watch. I know that a lot of MOFRO fans travel and camp at festivals like Wanee so the owner has given us permission to advertise
40 campsites on his land that will be available the evening of the show. The venue is the coolest thing you've ever seen, Leon Russell, Johnny Winter and other big name acts have played there over the years."

The show is $15 dollars at the door, and the campsites are also $15 for the night.

"This venue is so cool, imagine "Field of Dreams" but for musical acts instead of baseball players, it is TRULY unique. The owner doesn't sell anything on site, he just charges a door charge. He can seat about 300 inside the venue, he has chairs for about 90, so people bring folding chairs and their coolers with their own food and drinks, he allows BYOB, so it's a very inexpensive night out for anyone who would want to come over. It's a very safe place to play and the audience is absolutely great! Conrad played at the Polk Theatre in Lakeland a year and a half ago and did great so the Music Ranch has been booking him ever since."

He's damn sure got me convinced to go!

His dad sent me an awesome video of Conrad and his band that will be at this show but the link took forever to open. I'm gonna ask him if he has something he can send me to embed here cause I'm a little nervous about putting the link here and that it might slow somebody's machine down or something.
