I need to know if there were any tapers there last night, I did not think to look for the mic hanging around in the air somewhar....so iffn anyone saw that, it would make my day.....
I am still on my concert high and it is hard for me to fathom that I will be seeing them again in like 10 ish hours......THAT is WAY cool!

so glad I have the day off so I can recollect my evening with out the interuption of work.....
I guessed correctly for the opener and 2 out of 3 (cut one song) encores :o)
Let me start by saying the 3 years ago almost to the day we first saw this band and the Orange Peel. And Gregg walked out of there stating "that was the best concert I ever saw, hands down!"........
This morning we were talking with my sister and she was inquiring about the show etc. Gregg's response was that the show was awesome and he usually goes into a Mofro show as seen that done that, but is blown away EVERYTIME!!
I will probably post snippets here and there as I have to go to an awards ceremony for Sawyer at 1:30 rush back home and head back out to Knoxville.
Shucken Footer had 18 songs on their setlit, I know cuz they taped it there right in front of Sandman and I and I zoomed in and took a picture and we could do the countdown to how many were left. Not my cup o tea, but they were not bad. There was one song that he sang at the keyboard (without sunglasses) that I think he daddy wrote or was about his dad, but he sang that song with such conviction and that impressed me. He had alot of fans there, but all the ones that were hootin and hollering were in the way back, guess all us Mofronians took the space up front!!

Had short but great conversations with AC, Anthony, Andrew, and Daryl (he liked my beans!) and spoke a bit longer with JJ - And hhfan I told him Indiana says hello, gave him a hug from Giggles, and we spoke of his favorite color and I also gave Anthony a hug from you too.

Briggzz did not make it, I sure hope you are feeling better- gave him a concert call during Turpentine - AWESOME AWESOME performance!!! gave giggles a concert call during I think Ybor City and maybe another song. Met up with harmonicasp20 from the board as well as KGinSC.
Sandman and Andrew
My camera does not does not take good pics at all without a flash at concert, but I will post what I have later when I get a chance.
Blackwater and Hoochie Coochie Man are two songs I have not heard live til last night, LOVE Blackwater live and JJ is blazing on the guitar! and the sitar on Move it on was blistering! Hell - he blew us away on Lochloosa as well. Hell again, the whole concert blew me away and damn it I git to dew it awl again tonight!! Rock slide or not, here we come!!!
Glad we had a chance to chat with JJ after the show, none of them knew of the rock slide on I40 and they would have had a heck of a time turning that bus around. Also had a chance to chat with Adam for a bit after the show - first time meeting him and he is nice as pie and you gals are right he is a cute merch guy.
And Chris I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart (and I mean it) for my setlist, it is now one of my prized Mofro possessions! I have always wanted something with all their autographs and because of you I now do!! You went above and beyond....thank you.

Thanks for the concert calls and hugs by proxy; I've been feeling really under the weather lately and hearing Higher You Climb pour of my phone really boosted my spirits!

I asked JJ what his favorite color is and he said hhhmmm,(and he thought and thought about it) and said I really don't know, and I then said that Giggles thought it was purple and it was like a light came on and he said oh yeah, but I won't wear purple...it was cute

Haha! I was a bystander when a young lady asked JJ what his favorite color was in Tallahassee last January, and I thought his response was purple......but I have to admit, I had MANY, MANY beers that evening and very easily could have misheard him! It's good to know my ears still work when I am .....ahem.....a bit pickled! :p

Sunshine, it was good to meet all of you last night at the show. It was unbelievable. Wish I could be there tonight but work got the way. As far as tapers goes, there was a guy at the back that was taping it. I saw him setting up before the show and overheard him talking with someone there about taping it. Hopefully we can find out exactly who it is. Have fun tonight and give us all a report.

well...
it's been awhile since I posted. life in a bad Economy well..
Anyways my wife and I headed up to Ashville an had a great time at the peel...We wished other fans could have been there but we were real happy that the boys played like they liked the place.
We'll always go to the peel because we found it to be only 3 hours away. That's a caryatid easy!
