Speaking of purple, when I was 18 my father presented me with a classic American muscle car that he had lovingly restored in the hue of "Plum Crazy" Being a silly girl I declined his most generous offer and told him "Daddy, you worked so hard on it, you should keep it, besides I think it is waaaay too much car for me" My brothers wanted to murder me for not taking that car, they had grand plans for joyriding, drag racing and cruising for chicks in it! To this day they still cannot talk about this car and the fact that I turned it down, without tics, twitches and sky rocketing blood pressure!
Now I realize that what my father had tried to give me was the equivalent in value to that of really nice house.
Car enthusiasts will recognize what a HUGE idiot I was when they look at the picture below!
