Until JJ declares he has had better baked beans, I am honored to have braggin rights.. :o) ...here they are presented in the Making of My Beans, layer by layer.......
crisp bacon, carmelized onions, sauteed ginger
brown sugar
add some molasses
yellow mustard....only Sauers
add some cumin
and some cayenne
1st place pulled pork
add beans and secret BBQ sauce
stir & taste & adjust & taste & adjust the flavors til it is "caiyn't keep it ouutta my face" good........

I usually make the trip back home at least once a year. Was there back in Feb this year. Was hoping to make the Ybor show, but hubby too busy to break away, can't complain there. Thanks for the compliment!! Gregg and I are doing a gig for 100 at the local country club and I stayed home yesterday to cook and I thought it would make for a nice post.
