..... hey gang, it was not the Fla. Road Trip of the Century, nor was it a super gettin' down and dirty crowd, but the venue was cool, the food was good, the company nice, and the Makers Mark....well....ummmmm. Cathy and and I scrambled down the hill from Harborview Hosp. after she got off of work, and saw Buckwheat Zydeco at the Triple Door, in downtown Seattle. Had to see one of y'all's finest for the first time. Fun show ! Got there a few minutes late, so I hope that he did not cover our guy's tune.....I'd be disappointed. Told the guy at the merch table that we were glad to see Buckwheat play, and that he covered JJ's tune. Even had to holler out Mofro to Buckwheat between songs, and it got his attention. Oh well, still a great show...... and how does one decide to learn and or play the washboard, wow again. Great accordian, organ, trumpet, drums, guitar..... great show.
