I saw him on an episode of "Crossroads" last week with Jamey Johnson(young country guy who can really sing). To be honest, I was not impressed with Shooter. I could barely hear him singing and the songs were nothing spectacular. In the interviews though, he seemed like a really nice guy. I am sure you can look up this episode of "Crossroads" somewhere to see for yourself.
He has great lineage and a cool ass name. ---------- "Now if you happened to come down here tonight...and you don't wanna hear the person next to you sang, and you don't want'em to dance, cause you might spill your drink, you came to the wrong show in the wrong venue."
Wow, now that makes it even COOLER! Nasty, nasty girl. ---------- "Now if you happened to come down here tonight...and you don't wanna hear the person next to you sang, and you don't want'em to dance, cause you might spill your drink, you came to the wrong show in the wrong venue."
don't know about the other guy, why are they touring with him anyway, can someone explain that to me?? ---------- "It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation." - Herman Melville

I haven't really given a good listen to any of Shooter Jennings music yet......but I'm sure to check his stuff out before heading south in September. I think part of my hesitancy is that I am not a coutry music fan ---------- Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History
Hopeless, hapless...whateva. ---------- "Now if you happened to come down here tonight...and you don't wanna hear the person next to you sang, and you don't want'em to dance, cause you might spill your drink, you came to the wrong show in the wrong venue."
7 months later and I am still creeped out by Cowboy Mouth, the lead singer reminded of John Goodman tweaked out on Meth. ---------- Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History

......well, I tried it......dint like it.....but somebody out there does and that is cool with me. like sandman saiz, what ever it takes to get my fix.. ---------- "If you've never seen us before, don't be bashful - sing along from start to finish........and dance & feel good.....there's enough shit in the world, let it all out...........Brighter Daaaaays...."

There should be some kinda law that states whenever MOFRO plays Florida the Nervous Turkeys & JC's should open for them.
Call me crazy, but it really outta be a law
Giggles, your comment about John Goodman on Meth was on point for sure.
One positive is no noise ordinance @ the venue in St. Pete...so we might get an extended MOFRO set

JD, I could not be more with you on the Turkeys and JCs!
And you're guaranteed plenty of front row room at the St. Pete venue... Clay, straighten the Brother out.
