We would be there in a heartbeat. Have been there a few times in Oct before and Asheville and surrounding area are stunning. And few places compare to the Peel.
Buuuut...we done got our tix to Voodoo Fest (2 days later) and we gots neither the vacation time nor the moneys to do bof.
But y'all gonna have fuuuuuuunnn!

As you may have heard, we are coming to you today in the midst of jack-hammering and diesel engines outside...the Orange Peel expansion has begun! The new construction will include a private club downstairs, with liquor! We're also adding a large smoking porch off the back, improving our bar efficiency for faster service, adding bathrooms, and adding some risers with seating available. Stay tuned to our website and the OP newsletter to get more details on the project including how to join our new club."
Nice to see a club expanding in these times. And it's already a damn nice place y'all.

they had it pretty much everywhere we went, not too expensive either, pisgah ale and abita purple haze are my faves from this roadtrip so far.
, we did some promo work for a band called 'the new deal' that's why we were in town, I'm in charleston now but leaving tomorrow to go to my sisters new house in kernersville,NC
actually i be back that way in 2 weeks, I'm working at the trinumeral fest in deer fields, doin backstage security. i have been pretty much doin work for this one company all summer but this time i'll be working for somebody different, this guy runs alot of backstage and artist hospitality at big events.
so I'm hoping this could be a cool thing

looks like I turned off the puter too early.....
FF I live in Iron Duff, about 25 miles west of Asheville. Yes I am beyond excited!! Plans are to take my boys to see our boys in Greenville, SC at the Fall for Greenville Festival in early October. Then at the Peel and on to my first back to back shows and take them in at Knoxville with Mr. n Mrs. Sandman.
