No, it's not just you Clay. Though I absolutely LOVE the artistry and composition of these photos, the gigs does NOT like bugs at all.......I am not afraid of many things, but I am petrified of bugs! I was actually escorted out of The Rare Butterfly exhibit at the Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences for attempting to maim a particularly amorous flying critter. The damn thing was attracted to my Notre Dame windbreaker and was swooping at me, nuzzling my cheek and just generally terrorizing me. Well I went completely ape psycho and tried to disarticulate the little bugger's wings; that was when the rent-a-cops felt it necessary to usher me from the interactive display. ---------- Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History

hahahaha!! Oh Giggles, you are too funny and I loved that story! You paint such a colorful picture and gave my imagination some excersice this morning just picturing you at that exhibit!
Just for the record, I don't like bugs. I have a slight phobia bout spiders too. I just like to get close ups and use my macro setting to get the detail of my subjects at hand.
And Mr. D, Mr. P does not use any nasty ole pesticides in our garden, it be organic and my of the bugs in the garden are our little helpers, as I am told..... ---------- "If you've never seen us before, don't be bashful - sing along from start to finish........and dance & feel good.....there's enough shit in the world, let it all out...........Brighter Daaaaays...."

It’s 2025 and my expenses to keep this site up are just over $800/yr. If you want to help offset my expenses to keep this site up please consider pitching in a buck or 2. Much obliged!
