If not for this lovely and talented lady we would not be blessed with such a warm and talented drummer.
She raised AC by herself and I've been very fortunate to spend some time with him this year and she did one hell of a job.
He is genuine, thoughtful, intelligent, caring, very funny and has the utmost respect and appreciation for every single fan. I can honestly tell you that he shows up to his job with one thing in mind: to please and entertain us. I can also tell you that that ethic was ingrained in him from the time he was a small boy. He absolutely loves it and he is very thankful and appreciative of where it all came from: his Mom.
I've also been fortunate enuf to spend a little bit of time talking to Ms. Linda and what an absolutely delightful lady she is. I'm sure most of you know that she is one of the back-up singers on the "Orange Blossoms" album, so you know she's got tremendous talent herself.
She also is radiant and full of life and love and laughs. She's the type of person you could sit and talk to for hours and marvel at every second.
The person of the day y'all is Ms. Linda Cole.
AC's Grandmom and AC's Mom at the premiere of "CROWNS" in April '09. So I guess we also need to thank the lovely lady on the left for giving us the lovely lady on the right or we wouldn't have our drummer today.
Linda directed and played a major role in a local rendition in Ormond Beach. ""CROWNS" is a musical stage play, written by award winning actress Regina Taylor celebrating African-American women and their fabulous church-hats through an exploration of black history and identity."

Happy Birthday, to the lovely Ms. Cole! I concur with Clay's assessment: Anthony Cole is a wonderful talent and a good soul. I know his momma taught him well. Have a fabulous birthday week!

Happy Birthday, Ms. Linda! May this year always be better than the last! You are an inspiring spirit!
Also, please do feel free to put my husband in his place. First of all, there ain't nothin' wrong with putting syrup on hash browns, or sausage, or bacon, or just about anything. Secondly, you are one of the few folks on here that can call him "boy" and he'll take it from you ('cuz he sure won't from me)! So you go right on ahead and give him what's what!

I received this in my email over the weekend. Ms. Linda is an avid follower of the fansite. AC told me he thinks she's the fansite's biggest fan. While she doesn't post, she's on the site every day following our wacky antics and keeping up with what's going on with her son and the band!

I am completely overwhelmed by the amazing birthday shout-out I received from all of you precious folk.
It just so happened that the day before my birthday, we had a terrible storm in Flagler Beach. It knocked out all cable use, thus Internet access, in our subdivision; and I could not get on-line for my big day!! I missed all of the birthday goodies!
I finally got Internet access, yesterday!!! I read all of the darling entries and especially appreciate the comments re: my mother. How thoughtful!! She is an amazing Lady and one of AC's main heroines!
I look forward to seeing you all again, when the gang makes it back to Florida. They are some "hard-working" mens!! I am so proud of my son. He has always been a winner.

She's a winner too y'all; a very classy lady.
BTW, she's one of 3 parents who regularly keep up with things here on the site. Of course Jimbo is one. Since the other ain't never said I could out him/her I won't (although he/she never said not to either.) There may be more, but those are the ones I know of.
