Very short set -- 40-45 minutes. Boys were somewhat frustrated with volume limitations (venue is outdoors in the middle of dense residential neighborhood), yet they seemed to have a good time.
JJ: "They told us we've got to keep it quiet. Wrong band."
Unofficial setlist (Sorry from memory, but if I'm missing anything, it's probably just one or two other songs. Also, order may be off): I Believe Ho Cake A Woman Lochloosa (first time in six Denver shows I've been to that singalong didn't allow JJ to stop and listen) WYLF On Fire (set up by great JJ story about his daddy bird-dogging from the driver's seat of the family's pink Lincoln Continental in 1976)
Crowd dug the boys and I think they won over some new fans.
How do you have a concert with volume limitations? Doesn't seem like those words should ever be in the same sentence. Good thing they weren't opening for AC/DC! As for the short set, better a short set than no set at all, and looks like a nice little set that was easy on the ears and not too noisy...

Mofro for life in Arizona The Rhythm Room is exactly that when the boys are kicking it here. "Walking on Moonlight in the Day."
Thanks for coming on and telling us about it mile high! Good to hear from you again. Sounds like a good time but wow...volume limitations huh? That's gotta be tough on the band much less the fans. But it's always good to hear they won over some new fans though!
You done good on the setlist. I get 2 songs into a show and that's it; my memory goes to shit. According to bow wow's setlist post they also played Orange Blossoms and Sun is Shining Down. But it's also very possible that those were on the printed setlist but didn't get played because of time limitations or whatever.
Tedeschi was struggling with volume control, too. I think it's the type of place where if you've played there before you know how to adjust -- correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it was JJ's first time there and it sure seemed like it was Tedeschi's, too.
They definitely did not play Orange Blossoms. I'm 99% sure they didn't play Sun is Shining Down (Monday afternoon quarterbacking is throwing me a curve).
At one point, JJ turned to the band and signaled something like keep it rolling -- I figured they were jumping over a tune or two.
It was a good time, but more like a sip of a $100 wine than the slug of Jack and Coke we usually enjoy in the packed, sweaty clubs the boys usually play.
