I am floating still on cloud 9 after seeing JJ Grey & Mofro in Winthrop at the Blues Festival!!! Bar none the BEST concert I have been to in my LIFE!!! Front & center seeing them jam & cheering them on!!! Took sooooo many awesome photos & video ... smoking HOT & on fire let me tell you!!! We were having fun with our friend Richard & Cathy & the DOLLS too!!! I can't express how good they are on stage ... each & everyone of them!!! I love you guys & meeting JJ & hanging with him in the beer garden was so AWESOME!!! Buying JJ a beer & seeing him jam on stage with the beer I bought him ... PRICELESS!!!! He was on fire singing during the after jam!!! Can you tell I am still stoked??? Love you guys!!! Can't wait to see you at the Zoo in Seattle on the August 19th ... You have touched me with your music ... all I can say is I can feel your emotion when you sing & play .. Come to Washington anytime ... THANK YOU!!!
Welcome jjhitsmysoul!!! love the screen name!! I can feel your excitement all the way in my little corner of the world. How awesome is your first post!! I will have to let you know that not all folks that see JJ and the boys perform are as blessed as you and I (and many others of course) to be able to feel that deep down connection we have to his music that we do and that my friend is just amazing!!!! can't wait to see some of your pics!!

Hello folks....thanks for making a new JJ Mofro fan feel sooooooo dam good!!! I tell you I am still flying high from the excitement that I had from being up front & live in the action! And again meeting JJ was DA BOMB!!! I have played "Brighter Days" for the past two days as it gets me sooooo stoked! I have to figure out how to post the video & the pics ... hugs to all of you & I want to go see him again 2day =} Yes in D-Dee keep the Mofro going....I love this band!
I listen to "Brighter Days" every day on the way to work, there is just something about that song that without me even realizing it, I will be smiling.....(deep down inside, you know what I'm talkin 'bout!!)

When skotdee has finished working his masterful magic on the Boca show, make sure you include that version of Brighter Days in your compilation Sunshine! It is an incredibly poignant version.

Thanks mofrofans1 .. as a matter of fact I do need help! I was able to post some pictures & one of the 2 videos I have on the JJ Grey & Mofro page of Facebook! I'm not too good with the computer, I mean I was able to do that BUT how would I post the pics & videos on this site? Yes it is has been over 48hrs since I heard them jam & I'm still flying high! I have never been touched by an artist/group in 40yrs of life like this...don't get me wrong I LOVE music & love bands but this is something different for me =} any help is greatly appreciated =}

I know EXACTLY what you mean; I never thought in a million years I'd do something like a fansite for a band before Mofro.
As for the vids, there should be an "embed" code option. Simply copy that and post it right into the message box.
As for the pics, I'll let someone else jump in; I've not got a facebook acct (yet) so I don't want to give you bad instructions. But it's basically similar--each photo will have a code that you can paste, OR if there's a slideshow option then you can paste in the embed code.
If this makes no sense, don't worry...I seldom make sense. But others here on the board do so fear not! We'll help you get it figured out. We want to see the stuff too!!
jjhitsmysoul, simply upload your picture(s) to a photo sharing site, such as photobucket, snapfish, Rock You, flickr, etc, and then copy and paste the html code for the image into your message and post:) ---------- Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History

I swear I got the proof, the photos and video to prove that I was there! Well, my Seattle buddies have already posted it above, but I got my own shit too but,........but nothing I need to get off my raggedy ass and post it. Having some issue with my video format since I am not all that bright about this stuff. As far as coming to Seattle, hell we could house a couple of ya, got the space. Hell again, as far as those March shows they did, you could have offset the airfare because the tickets were only ten bucks. I can't frickin' wait untill next month and see them at the zoo. I am really thinking that I should look into albeit a bit late, to the Portland Zoo show, a couple of days after our Zoo show. Take the wife and kids, take the wife, take the kids, take myself, take JJhitsmysoul and hubby, take who ever wants to go....just go !
Yes Richard,Roy & I are still waiting for the pics .. especially the one with the six of us and JJ too =} Can't wait to see them ... that link you said talked about them being on the road this fall ... Roy & I would love to go see them play somewhere else ... that would be soooo fun ... we can go see them in another part of the states and jam with those folks too! YES still pumped like it was last Sunday all over again ... JJ ROCKS!!!!!
