(clears throat) HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR ERIC! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! ---------- Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History
Hell, some guys have all the luck. Estanley gets to drink for fun today, that's just frickin' great. Just wait till you turn 45/46 old man. Then, you'll get to spend your night and day drinking this nasty stuff that you mix up, taste like badassed salt water, and leaves you feeling like your going to die lile Elvis.... on the crapper. Hell again, you guessed it..... I get the scope treatment here in a short while this afternoon. Nothing beats getting a year older ! Happy Birthday Big E, and please accept my electronic offering of some Makers Mark, serveed up any way you like it !
---------- "Now if you happened to come down here tonight...and you don't wanna hear the person next to you sang, and you don't want'em to dance, cause you might spill your drink, you came to the wrong show in the wrong venue."
Well now, happy birthday. Glad to have met you last month, will have a belated b-day beer at our next mutual 'fro encounter. Here's to hoping the trophy wife has a PBR for each of us - I mean, it WAS voted America's Best in 1893!
Sue Webb HOOKED IT UP! Best surprise party...ever. All my friends, a ton of booze and best of all...NERVOUS TURKEY! Good times were had by all. Thanks to all of you...Jen, Liz, Dude, Clay, you guys absolutely rock and I love you all. Anyone would be lucky to be able to call you guys friends.
Thanks for the best birthday yet! Can't wait to hear the tape!

Shit, I didn't even know...but if it ever happens again, you're there.
---------- "Now if you happened to come down here tonight...and you don't wanna hear the person next to you sang, and you don't want'em to dance, cause you might spill your drink, you came to the wrong show in the wrong venue."
Looks like y'all had a hell of a time! thanks for sharing the pics. I am able to pick out a few familiar faces that I hope someday to meet in person. who is the dude in the lower left corner of the big screen and what is is doing!?! ---------- "No effort, no gain No effort, stay the same No don’t you ever try to live a lie"
That would be Aaron Fowler, drummer for the Turkeys (and the Legendary JCs)...and he's showing you his right man-boob. ---------- "Now if you happened to come down here tonight...and you don't wanna hear the person next to you sang, and you don't want'em to dance, cause you might spill your drink, you came to the wrong show in the wrong venue."
You wanna talk about fun! A great time had by all indeed. Suewebb and Eric's mom (aka Millie) did a helluva job pulling off a surprise party right down to his second favorite band!!
He was shocked when they came in the door of the place and there's like 30+ people yelling surprise. He's making his way around the room--not yet noticing that Ernie from Nervous Turkey is in the corner setting up. Finally Ernie hits a few notes on his harp and E's head whips around, his eyes get bigger'n pie pans and his mouth drops down to his pelvical region.
This vid's a great representation of the spirit of the evening; featuring Nervous Turkey's Ernie Locke, Aaron and Mark they lay it down funky and nasty. Also featuring John Dude, Elizabeth, Mark's wife Lisa, my trophy wife, E, E's girl Suewebb and other revelers. Me? Somebody had to operate the camera...

"Spinach Popeye" is one of the most fun songs that Turkey does. (Besides, Mark gets to sing on this one. That's like having Daryl sing back up y'all.)
The dude dancing--damned if I can remember his name but I think he's a friend of Eric's--only came on the floor once and this was it. He was great. Ernie says at the end that it's "the best Popeye I've seen...ever." FuckinA

The man in the Popeye video is Cajun, a brother of mine from WAY back. Here is a pic of him in less joyful times...protecting our asses in Fallujah, Iraq.

Happy Birthday, again. Eric. That must have been the best birthday ever! Looks like a blast. You've got a great lady and bunch of friends to pull that off!
Best damn time I've had in awhile! ---------- "throwin' pennies on the tracks and playin' in the rain...oblivious of the world around us that was going insane"
BEST BIRTHDAY EVER. Being surrounded by that much love would make ANYONE feel good. My friends are the best friends! ---------- "Now if you happened to come down here tonight...and you don't wanna hear the person next to you sang, and you don't want'em to dance, cause you might spill your drink, you came to the wrong show in the wrong venue."

one more note: Good thing ES trimmed his nose hairs for that close up!
Again, thanks for sharing those awesome vids and pics!! Ain't nothing like being surprised and surrounded by loved ones for the celebration of the day one is born into this world!! ---------- "No effort, no gain No effort, stay the same No don’t you ever try to live a lie"
Like you breathe air, Sister! ---------- "Now if you happened to come down here tonight...and you don't wanna hear the person next to you sang, and you don't want'em to dance, cause you might spill your drink, you came to the wrong show in the wrong venue."
