i now this is a mofro site, but i saw this band is touring through florida starting next week, (delray, orlando, tampa etc.) and thought some of you guys would want to know. i've seen them a few times and Mr. Ricci slays on the harmonica and his band is as equally good. i highly recomend going if you can make it.

While we're at it, Pete Stein's band Truckstop Coffee is playing in Lake Worth this Friday night at a place called Propaganda (right across the street from the BamBoo Room). He was the second act at the jam. Afterwards, he said his guitar was so hot, his callouses melted off. Said it felt like walking across hot sand in the summer.

Oh - that reminds me. Ran in to Russel that owns the Bamboo Room, he said he's planning on opening back up in 12 to 18 months...

i would like to second this about jason ricci & new blood. his cd is good, but his live show is great. he is one of the best harp players doing it right now, and his band is off the charts. check out the bass player! and guitar is just as hot. if you get a chance, its a good show.

tox.....great news about the Bamboo Room. I was talking to a few people at the JJ solo show this past weekend about that very thing. Come on Russell!!

BTW, it was nice finally meeting you, hope to see you around at more shows in the near future.
