last night the 18th at hal n mals. the same place mofro played in jackson last. it was galactic with Shamarr Allen. and jj did the encore, sympathy for the devil. i think it was the encore. but it was great! i think we might see some more great stuff tonight at the jam ya'll
Thanks for the heads up on Shamarr! Saw him back in NOLA this evening with Paul Sanchez at d.b.a. doing an early set (7 pm). After that, he was headed down the block to Blue Nile for his own gig later tonight. Was Corey Henry with Galactic as well. Shamarr and Corey have been with them a bit lately; when Shamarr isn't on the road with Willie Nelson! Is that man talented or what?
