A little sumptin-sumptin from the Snook Foundation for the mofrofans forum member that makes the longest pilgramage.

Probably not much, thinking a concert poster signed by all artists or along those lines.

From my front door to the Amphitheatre, it is:
1,158.54 mi
or
6,117,091.2 ft.
or
73,405,094 in.

I don't want anyone to get the idea that I'm bored senseless at work or anything :p

The basic unit is the Russian cubit, called arshin, measuring exactly twenty-eight English inches, as standardised by Peter the Great.

Thus, 80 vershoks = 20 piads = 5 arshins = 140 English inches.[1]

A piad (????, “palm”, “five”) or chetvert (?????????, “quarter”) is a hand span, the distance between ends of the spread thumb and index finger.

How many "piads" using the above provided information is it from your front stoop to the front row, where I presume "you will be shakin yer tail feathers?"

:o)

Well to get an accurate measurement, I would need to know the distance from the curb of the venue to the area considered to be front row, cause I only did my calcalutions to determine the distance "door to door"..........maybe tox can provide that information :p

But if my math is correct and thats a big BUT, here is my door to door distance in piads:

10, 486, 438 piads from gigglesville to Surfin Snook Jam!

Good Luck Giggles!!

by using my 1983 Russian cubit coversion to piads relic of a calculator (can't find the conversion chart) I think you are pretty damn close to the correct answer, I did the figuring 4 times and came up with the same 2 answer. Maybe Tox's friend will come thru.

Using Sunshine's conversion factor of 140 inches equalling 20 piad, the following are my calculations for door to door distance travel from gigglesville to Mouse Mouth, Fl.

7 inches = 1 piad
1 inch = .1428571 piad
1 ft. = 1.7142852 piad
1 mi = 9,051.14258 piad
1,158.54 mi = 10,486,438 piad

Of course I counted this all out in pennies, so I could be a tad off! :p

Tox ROCKS! Brett, THANK YOU so much for taking the time to have all the artists sign this cherished memento for me! Incredibly, they all spelled my name right (which is quite a feat since I have multiple family members that don't know how to) and it's ridiculously cool that Will & JJ addressed me as "Giggles" too! In my joy & excitement, I was going to roll around naked on it after you gave it to me, but I was so damn sweaty that day that I was afraid the signatures would all transpose onto my skin! :P

My Personalized SSSJ Poster =)
