Hey Gang, sorry about making ya jump through the hoops, but here it is, only ya gotta follow the link to Flickr.com because I am not smarter than a 5th grader.
That is so awesome!! Richard, if you want to post the pic here, just go to your flickr and when you go to that photo, look for the "all sizes" and click on that, then choose the medium one and then scroll down a bit and then click on the url link and copy that and then paste it in the message box where you would normally type a message and when you post the message the picure should be there - if I explained it correctly.
Thanks for sharing that is indeed a treasure of monumental proportions!! ---------- "No effort, no gain No effort, stay the same No don’t you ever try to live a lie"

Giggles, Thanks a bucket load for posting the shot !!!! I want to do another one with some CDs, candles, blackberry cobbler, ribs, hushpuppies, collard greens, ho cakes, Soutern Thread clothes, and anything else from the South...... Thanks again ! Took the day off from work, and heading down to Mt. St. Helens with my wife, some other parents, and my son Vincent's 4th grade classes for a field trip.....great weather up here too !
Having seen MOFRO last week, I find that I can barely wait to see them again! I hope you have a wonderful time DT!!!! ---------- When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years, Then they expect you to pick a career, When you can't really function you're so full of fear, A working class hero is something to be
You were at the PA one on the 29th right? I think I remember you said that JJ opened with Brighter Days? This will be the 10th time I have seen them and I have yet to hear him play Brighter Days, maybe the 10th time will be the charm? I sure as hell have my fingers crossed....

Mofro for life in Arizona The Rhythm Room is exactly that when the boys are kicking it here. "Walking on Moonlight in the Day."
DT, yes I was at the Philly show and was lucky enough to get a Brighter Days opener. Hearing the first strains of that song not only made my heart happy but set the tone for the rest of the evening! I will keep my fingers crossed that you not only get Brighter Days but a blazing rendition of it as well!!
Richard, I meant to congratulate you on your wondrous win! The picture is absolutely AWESOME, thanks for sharing with us! Have you thought about how you are going to display this treasure? I have an acoustic guitar signed by all the members of the Dave Matthews Band. I went to the music store and purchased a really nice guitar stand, I have it positioned in the corner of my bedroom, with a light illuminating it, so that the guitar is the focal point of the room. ---------- When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years, Then they expect you to pick a career, When you can't really function you're so full of fear, A working class hero is something to be
Thank you Richard for taking time out of your day to rub it in our face that we are all losers! nah, it looks great congrats. ---------- "Got my Mofro workin"

Hey Gang' Thanks for the compliments. Hey DT, guess what ? Well, last weekend while at my youngest sons baseball game, and waiting for the kids to get their team photos taken, this mom I was talking with, spotted and told me "Hey, there's Eddie Vedder", he was there with his lady, some other gal, some kids and his new baby. Well, this mom told me she had dated some guy in Alice in Chains, which led to me telling her this whacky story from a guy who is from my neighborhood( where I now live in the house I grew up in) who told me this story about Lane Staley actually being this other guy we grew up with, who had an older brother and sister. The sister, was married to Chris Cornell, and well...... it all just blew my world, but somehow seemed odd, yet possible. Supposedly, the younger brother was a rocker..changed his name....and was Lane Staley, both of whom had a problem with the needle, and the younger brother supposedly froze to death out of state. Then I tell this mom at the baseball park, how my brother is friends with Brian Marti, who's brother Kevin Martin is the lead singer of Candlebox...... my shit is bigger than yours... I know..... and that I had once talked to Eddie Vedder at this local deli, while my wife was working there part-time and going to school. I was at the store, and told my wife that if that guy was taller...he'd be Eddie Vedder. After the third time of telling me it was, I decided she might be right, because he frequented the store she said, I went up to him, stood next to him, and said " Hey Eddie, so you know Mike Meyers huh ?" We'll he must have thought I was a cop, and apologized for being to loud. I told him that my brother and I grew up with Mike (not the actor) and told him to say hello from Keith and Richard. Anyways, back to the ballpark, I went up to Eddie, reminded him of that story, he had kinda forgotten it, asked me if it was Mike Meyer the actor, and blamed lack of memory on his brain being a bit fried.....ya think ? So, I came back, told Vincent my oldest son(10yrs.)told him to go say hi to Eddie, be polite, and not make a seen. To my surprise he did, with enthusisam, approched Eddie and his group as they were leaving the park, told him"Eddie, I'm a big fan of your music" to which Eddie put out his hand to shake Vinnie's and said "Thanks Brother". Hell, two of them in one week, hot damn !!!
Giggles, I think that I will buy a shadow box, and mount it on the wall in the stairwell. If I do, the dolls, a picture, the guitar pick, ticket stubs, and whatever else might also go on display. Folks have asked "Hey do you play ?" Aaaaah no. Are you going to play this guitar.........maybeeeeee....nope...I don't know, but definitley, no Pete Townsend or Jimi Hendrixing the damn thing that's for sure. I think that I might apply some clear vinyl over the autograph, so that it doesn't wear off. Hell, I swear the box smelled like barbeque sauce when I opened it, and there was some finger print smudges on the lower part of the body......ribs or chicken I can't tell.
Mofrofans 1, I still keep asking my wife if she's "Seen my guitar?" as if she may not believe that I actually won/got it! It is sitting in our bedroom on one of my son's guitar stands, so I need to get my own. Plus, I have been asked by some, " Do you play guitar?" "Are you going to learn now?", "Are you going to put it on the wall in a shadow box?" Hell, I don't play, but always have wanted to do so. Hell again, this might be some motivation, ya think ?, and Hell again, do I use this one to play/learn on while taking very great care of it, or just leave it alone and up on the wall with the dolls, since I don't play with dolls either. I am thinking of putting some clear vinyl over the autograph, so as to not have that wear off, much like I did with my mono-pod for my cameras, that was signed by the likes Sterling Moss, Carroll Shelby, Hurley Hayward,Vic Elford and a couple of others while I was at the Monterey Historic Races at LaGuna Seca, eleven years ago, when Porsche was celebrating their 50th Anniversary. That was some cool shit too !
This is for our new Canadian Brother David. Here is what the t-shirt the guitar, and the dolls,,,,with autographed asses, look like. You can look but please don't touch.
