Sue Webb and I will be in Cincinnati for a couple of nights later this month. Neither of us have ever been...anyone out there have any suggestions for restaurants, bars, museums or anything else of interest?
Thanks ahead of time for any and all recommendations!

Never been to Cincy, but you can go see the baseball team fomerly known as "The Big Red Machine". Yep, my boys haven't done anything since they swept the A's for the World Series title back in '91.

Huge baseball fan here. We'll be rolling into town on the 27th and have a show lined up to see/tape that night. That night is the last night of the Reds' homestand, though they have an off (travel) day the 28th and I'm gonna call to see if they offer tours of the stadium or anything like that since they have no game to prepare for the next day.
Thanks, Stan!

HA! I do see that the ballpark is just off of Pete Rose Way...my childhood baseball hero (Ya'll keep your comments to yourselves!).

Thanks, Mile High...we'll definitely hit the museum, I appreciate the heads-up.
Now are you from Denver or just a really big fan of Cheech and Chong?

There is a nice chop-house kind of place called La Normandie, which is downstairs of "The Maisonette." Sorry, I don't have the address but should be easy enough to google up. It's one of those places where some guests are in jeans, some are wearing high$ suits. The few times I've been, there was nice live music (acoustic), and the menu is solid. The bar is stocked - if you are in to a "nice-ish" dinner, it's a safe bet. The upstairs joint, The Maisonette, is usually rated 5-stars (might not be at present - it's hard to keep), so if you are really looking for high end and have serious bucks to blow, that is an option as well.

Charlie Hustle.....hell yeah!! The man should be in the Hall of Fame....no doubts about it. Players, past and present, have done MUCH worse than bet on games.

Denver. And yes, as some have suggested, JJ seems to enjoy playing up here.
