When you can't really function you're so full of fear,

Congrats !!!! That's sum big stuff there, and I know second hand because Cathy,my wife, got her nursing degree at the tender age of 45. She also got her BA way back when, back when she really wanted to go to med school but did not think that she had the tenacity. Hell, she married me, raising to young boys, the youngest who had open heart surgery at three weeks of age(needs more),went back to school, and has put up with me....So, GREAT JOB ASHLEY !!!

Hey y'all, thanks! Wow, Richard, that is quite a story. Wish you and your family all the best. I have a B.A., as well, but decided I wanted to do something else. So glad I did. I love nursing. Mr. Kelley, I've rented a 1 BR apt -- that's all I can afford right now.... As much as I'd love to have a dozen of y'all scattered around....

12:1 is not THAT bad of a ratio...all things considered.

Ashley, hey my wife says once you start working , you'll never write another "Care Plan" and after a year on the job, you won't even remember what one is, so enjoy your work. Cathy is a nurse at Harborview, which for those of you who don't know the NW, it is our level 1 trauma center, for Ak.,MT.,ID.,&WA., states. Overlake in Bellevue was trying to or, maybe is, becoming a major trauma center, from what I remember, but I could be very wrong. On Jan. 6th of 2005, I got a ride from SFD's Medic One, to Harborview, spent the night after having nose&face put back together, and treated for broken ribs, and messed up back, then three months off of work because some guy did not stay on his side of the yellow line.
Take a look, and then look for the photo of the inside of the truck and read the caption. Good nurses and good drugs.......mmmmmmm.

(sniffle) Our little girl is all growed up. Seems like it was just a year ago that she stayed up til all hours "studying" (interesting though how many posts she would make during that time.) Or she would update us as she traveled to shows with nary a care in the world.

I guess that was a year ago huh? I'm honored that you've let us all ride along. Geez, in the last year you've turned 30, seen probly 20 Mofro shows, gradeeated from skool, lost your virginity, and moved to New Orleans. You've had one helluva year.

Don't go being a stranger on us now!!

Just trying to keep life fun, interesting, rewarding, and satisfying, Clay-mation! I may be moving to NOLA, but I'm not going anywhere. You'll still be hearing from me. Perhaps I'll post some killer NOLA shows here and there. You'll all be wanting to move there!
