Just some general information for ya'll out there that have had the same problem I've had with iTunes. After updating iTunes a while back (probably 8 months ago or more), I couldn't burn discs anymore - it would present "ERROR 4280 - Burning process aborted". Updating never fixed the problem when new releases were offered. I even went from iTunes 7 to 8!
I searched the web for answers for months and didn't find the solution. Enter my Geeker. He simply did the following and I'm burning again:
Right click your burner drive in Windows Explorer
Click Properties
Click Recording
Make sure "Enable CD Recording on this drive" is checked.
For some reason, updating iTunes disabled this function.
I hope this helps someone, because it sure frustrated me for a long time. Apple techies were no help either.
