The other thread kinda got hijacked by Greyhounds talk.

Someone on another thread said Adam was OK for a New Yorker but he was actually born & raised in Ohio.

LET'S HEAR IT FOR MISTER ADAM SCONE!

What do you think were Adam's finest moments with Mofro?

Man...to pick only one!?

Safety Harbor 2004 (day after Langerado)
Maple Leaf (Jazzfest 2005)
Antone's (ACL 2005)

I kinda went off on a Greyhounds tangent, but seriously,
Adam Scone really brought MOFRO to the next level. I'll never forget the first time I heard "Hottest Spot in Hell" at Cafe 11...Adam's playing was out of this world!!!

Bonnaroo '04, Six Ways From Sunday was incredible too!!!

Everytime I saw him, he rememered my name & said hello.
Not only an incredible Bass & Organ (at the same time) player...but one helluva nice guy too.

Thank You Adam for your craft. I love Sugarman 3 (Soul Donkey) And all that you have put into MOFRO, your "blood, sweat, & tears" are evident on Lochloosa, Country Ghetto & Orange Blossoms. 3 albums & 100's of live shows, Damn Fine Job!

Adam's talent and presence to this band will be terribly missed. Ya don't know how good you have it, til it is gone............
