playing around with youtube here, trying to figure out the new widescreen format. Well, I got that part down, but in a BACKWARDS ass move by youtube, they aren't offering the "high quality" link anymore on certain videos, claiming they've upgraded their regular player and the HQ is no longer that big an improvement over the standard quality.
In short, BS! The standard quality SUCKS, even with their so-called "improved player". Oh well, enough of my anti youtube rant.
Good thing is you can FORCE youtube to play the HQ version by pasting &fmt=18 at the end of the url... I tried to get this to work on the embedded player, nope. So just when they finally add the HQ option to the embedded player, they get rid of the HQ link. WEAK!
Wait, didn't I end this rant? Errrr, just a little steamed on this one. At any rate, ya'll check out that Santa Claus, the guitar solo is SICK diddley ICK.

Ain't that the truth Stan. We're gonna have to come up with some kind of award or something for skotdee for video, and another one for you for audio.
P.S. skot...find a peaceful place in your mind, deep breaths in thru your nose and out thru your mouth, feel the tenseness released from your body. Or take a xanax and a couple shots of Jack--you'll feel better!

Thanks ya'll, glad you likey. If I can be my over critical self for a minute, that auto focus STRUGGLES in low light places like the freebird... Luckily I've been learning to shoot all manual, plus picked up a new cam, so the vids are going to take a BIG step forward in '09!

You know firefly, I think I would like to see that bottle again. Maybe to stare it in the eye another time, meet my maker, so to say, pardon the pun. I'll tell ya this, I have a new found respect for it. I might not go at it with the tenacity of 12/30, but yeah, I'd like to see it again, and give respect for teaching me a valuable lesson...
