In case ya'll missed it on the main page (then you may need glasses) here it is again. (This one's bigger than the one on the main page.) I suggest not trying to eat or drink nuthin when you watch this...lest you want it all over your screen.
In December, Spooky Daly (of Spooky Daly Pride) came to Jax to direct and work with JJ on shooting the video. Spooky is also the one who did same for the Orange Blossoms video (with Sweet Thang and Roy Tater Rothstein). I heard that JJ built the set.

I was just about to hit the road and thought I would check the site real quick. Boy, am I glad I did!! Holy sh*t! First of all, I didn't know Barbie dolls were so flexible! Second, that was HOT! Whew! I almost need a cold shower now. And third, fantastic!!!! Highly entertaining!!!! When I played with Barbie dolls at 8 years old, they used to do dirty things. This would have blown my mind!! Umm, parents, don't show this to your kids!
That's exactly how I used to play with my Barbies......lol:p ---------- The only thing I knew how to do Was to keep on keepin' on like a bird that flew, Tangled up in blue
I remember JJ talked about this not too long ago in an interview or radio broadcast, but had completely forgotten about it until now. He also said to watch out because it was gonna make you laugh so hard you might bust your gut. As usual, JJ is true to his word. Sweet Thang & Tater, now this... What's next?

its taking the guys so long to comment because they're watching it over and over again, and its hard to type when you playing with yourself..
how many stripclubs did they ahd to visit to get it right??lol ---------- "..they outta outlaw airconditionin' in clubs, let mothafuckas sweat aaaall night looong .."
This could've been a deleted scene from Team America: World Police :p ---------- The only thing I knew how to do Was to keep on keepin' on like a bird that flew, Tangled up in blue
Freakin' hilarious. Not as funny as the Orange Blossoms video, but they're completely different. The first ass shaking bit had me laughing out loud at work.
I sent the link of the video to my roommate, someone I converted into a fan of JJG&M, well, not converted, but told him to be prepared for Front Porch Soul, JJ and the music did the rest. Anyways, his reponse in an email was well put, so figured I would post it:
“That is ridiculous….. seriously ridiculous.”
I can’t think of a better response than that!

Far Out, I thought I was was watching a Monty Python Episode! GI Joe as the bouncer that was fresh...I guess I'm showing my age, but I had a green shirt like that one dude who was grooving to the funky gluts!
I passed on this video to some of the guys at work. They loved it and one guy commented that they must have done their research as it was very authentic. He also asked if the "guys" in the video were suppose to be some of the band members, saying that one kinda resembled Adam........ ---------- "Lord feel that vibe, Lord feel that vibe....."
ha! MTV hasn't shown videos since the 80's .It used to be my after school religion. I remember when the first 'real world' came out, it was all downhill from then. If we all email it or post it on our facebook/myspace or whatever social networks , it will get far. ---------- If you are walking on thin ice, you might as well be dancing !!
FF, I had wondered what religion you are. MTV huh? So you wanted to be Nina Blackwood or sumthin?
You got it on the social networks. When you look at a band from a business standpoint, they do videos to help sell product--whether that's cd's, downloads, merch, whatever. The more memorable--whether it be funny, or dramatic, or sappy, or killer dance steps, and so on--then the more it will spread. (For example, I didn't go out and get OK GO's album, but they did inspire me to buy a treadmill. Hmmm, that's maybe not a good example, especially considering I already had a treadmill, so I didn't do shit for OK GO but did help the treadmill industry.)
I ain't saying nothing y'all don't know. Like Firefly said: WE CAN HELP THE BAND by posting the video on our sites and blogs, sending it to friends and workers, and get a viral blitz going.
Y'know, humor is subjective and there's probly a thousand ways to approach a video for a song. So, if you happen to be kind of iffy on the video or something that's okay, to each his own for real. BUT, that doesn't mean you can't help the guys out. Marketing budgets for bands their size are so squeezed right now that they can't breathe. The video is a way that they can get noticed, talked about, listened to, and pick up new listeners for a relatively minimal expense. LET'S ALL DO OUR SHARE! NOW MORE THAN EVER!! ---------- MofroFan1

I was trying to locate the "Orange Blossoms" video to pass along to friends/co-workers, but on youtube it is no longer available and I can't find it on this or Mofro.net. Any suggestions? ---------- "Lord feel that vibe, Lord feel that vibe....."
Too funny dirtcracker. I just watched it again for the umpteenth time and it's still cracking me up. They did a hell of a job with this y'know? Ain't like they had a big crew or nothing. JJ built the set at his house. They shot it there. The way they get the dolls moving, walking, dancing...it ain't as easy as it looks!! (I wanna know how many times they had to toss the panties until they finally got them to land on the guys arm.)
Have YOU passed it along? Put it on your social site?? Spread it around, get the word out that JJ Grey & Mofro is on fire!
And there are definitely some underage Barbies strippin' in that video, I most definitely saw Skipper...I always knew she was a ho :p
Clay, I posted that video on my social sites the day it came out, and I also sent it to everyone in my outlook contacts who hadn't already seen it:p I am trying to do my part! ---------- The only thing I knew how to do Was to keep on keepin' on like a bird that flew, Tangled up in blue

It’s 2025 and my expenses to keep this site up are just over $800/yr. If you want to help offset my expenses to keep this site up please consider pitching in a buck or 2. Much obliged!
