Remember 70's slang when something was "bad" it meant that it was very very good or very very cool?

Since Mofro is awsum good then they're "bad" & everything "bad" is good

can't get outta that loop

I think you're showing your age there mofrogunner. So I guess I'll jump on the wagon. I'm guilty too of remembering that in the 70s. I remember when I was in like 6th or 7th grade somebody on tv had a comedy routine that went back and forth with 2 guys doing a good/bad routine that was really funny. That was like 70 or 71. By the time I was in high school, it was firmly engrained into our daily language.

In the 70's I thought I was the baddest kid on the block because I could put a stylin' outfit together by matching my GrrAnimals tags. When I wasn't being a fashion diva with my JC Penny daywear, I was running around the house in my Wonder Woman Under-Roos....now that was seriously bad ass!

I gave this Good is Bad/Bad is Good concept some thought and what popped into my head was that kid from the 80s flick Mask - Rocky Dennis. He wrote that poem about good things and bad things. I really like that poem and got inspired to write my own version. Here it is, hope you like it -

These things are good,
Songs that make me smile,
Birds at my feeder,
My parents saying 'I love you',
Springtime weather on a winter’s day,
And taking the road less traveled.

These things are a drag,
Getting cut off in traffic,
Hitting my knee on the baby gate,
Being poked with a needle at the Doctor’s office,
Raking leaves at the end of Fall,
And taking the road less traveled.

Peace and Luv,

8-)

Wow Mo...very nice. FireFly a) I knew which one you'd pick in the poll; I thought of you (NOT in THAT way) when I put it on there; b) my trophy wife was born in 71 when I was in 7th grade. But we didn't start dating until I reached high school.

All this talk of you ladies in under roos...y'all got pictures?
