"Florida swamp rocker JJ Grey’s latest CD, with Mofro, is called ORANGE BLOSSOMS. JJ joins Elwood to talk about his growing roots rock fame, to tell the sad story of his first guitar, and to share with us some of his musical influences – including Lynyrd Skynyrd, Toots and the Maytals, and the relatively unknown harp player Billy Bizer. You will learn what “Mofro” really means. And the folks at DeltaGroove Records have two new releases in February: The Soul of John Black, with BLACK JOHN, and Bobby Jones of the Mannish Boys, with a solo effort, COMIN’ BACK HARD. Ten copies of each will be handed out to lucky Blues Brethren. Tune in to win. Also, hear a track from the very first CD, SOUL TUB, by the California Honeydrops. Real old time funky groovy jug band music. With a twist."

I’m Clay/MofroFan1, the guy who started this back in 2008. Seventeen years and running and no intention of stopping because Mofro fans are the best fans ever.
Even though it costs me about $800/yr I always said I’d leave it going forever. If you’d like to make a little donation to help me offset these costs please click above or go here.
