$10 at Coda here in Monroe, LA - Saturday night 1/24. Wish my taping gear was arriving by then. Amazing that there is no travel time necessary to check out some good music. This new bar Coda is bringing in lots of good acts.

Man, that was awesome! Eric Lindell and his band (sax, bass, drums) were so tight and perfect. The crowd had no idea who they were, but they were loving it. The venue holds 150 peeps, and was just about full for the first set, but cleared out pretty good for the 2nd set. Mixed crowd -- from 21 yrs old to 70 yrs old. Frat boys, cowboys, teachers, metal heads, all kinds. The wood floor and my slick shoes allowed for some smooth moves, baby! $20 for a CD? Well, that's a lot, but we bought one anyway. My mom enjoyed it a lot! Good times!!

Oh yeah, I tried some Firefly sweet tea vodka! Yummm! But I've got a headache today.... And by the way, never try to tape a show with an mp3 player.
