So I was at the Handlebar Friday night to see my friend Kenny Floyd's new band Ramona Drive and they had an opening band called the Soulmites. They were not really my style but then the singer said " This is a song by a band called Mofro, you should them out." So naturally I got excited and grabbed some video. They covered By My Side. I'm interested to see your thoughts on it....... hahaha

Here is the band I actually went to see. The sax player is TRULY amazing. He goes by the nickname Friday.

They play around Charlotte mostly but make it around the south as well so if you see their name come up at a venue near you check em out! You won't be disappointed!
