Hell of a show last night in Charlotte. Got off work in Durham at 7pm and made it to the show just as Hill Country was done. The band and JJ had a good time and the crowd got into it. I can't remember the set list but I called my wife (who coundn't make it- it was my first solo show) for "I Believe." The best jam was mojo workin- everybody got wrokin'. Lochloosa, as a good middle of the set highlight, was unifying for the crowd. It seemed like everyone was singing all the lyrics-JJ Liked it.
Daryl ripped a good solo, I love his minimal plaing...Dennis and Art were really hot epically on Ho Cake. AC played some good percussion on Move it on and Air. JJ played his bullet with some deep blues that jumped up out of his soul and smacked the who crowd in the face as if he was saying "I'm gonna put all your heads out!" As for Scone well does much need to be said...?
Got back at 2am but way worth it!!! Well, I gotta Get in the shower and get to my day job- then take the kids out for trick or treat...Maybe they could hit some houses in Charleston?!

Ohhh man NC thanks for sharing. Sounds like a ripping good time. Dirtcracker called me during Junior and it was melting my cell. Holy shit! He texted me that it was the best concert by any band he's ever been to (and he's been to a LOT.) Said same as you about Mojo--it burnt up the place. Sounds like your ass'll be dragging today, but you'll have a smile all day long!
He sent me the setlist this morning and I'll get it up later today.

he's not big on birthdays but after the band left the stage, danny made the whole crowd say'happy birthday jj"
pretty sure he liked that, haha
I bought a bottle of makers that I was gonna put on stage but that didn't happened. instead I shared it with adam , the cute merchboy/roadie on halloween. WHoaaaaaaaa !@!@!

He is great in what he does, I watch him talk to people, selling the merch and at the end of the gig he also has to help getting the equipment on the bus.
yeah a cutie he is, kinda young i think , I don't 'train' anymore( hold on guys, dontcha all get crazy on me again)lol, I just love to get ya'll worked up with my comments.
they'ra all cute, except for that long-haired roadie dude, he's NOT cute ! but he makes jj sound really great >
