I'll tell ya, UHollis is the shit. He got this up here hours before it the Mofro site or blog!

OMG, this is awesome. This is such a great annual event. I am so stoked that JJ's on the bill. I was just in Asheville last week so my chances are slim to making it back in December but I hope a bunch of y'all get to go!

Ok...how can we all come together and make just enough $ to pay bills, eat, & travel to see MOFRO!?

Seriously, I'm not sure how much equity I have in my house due to the economy & such. But if someone could propose a good business plan, Casa de Dude goes on the market!!!

JJ...your a business man...any ideas?
Will work for MOFRO!

how about if we get a big bus, and follow them around and cook for them wherever they go? like meals on wheels.I don't how they feed themselves. I think sometimes people cook or get it catered .
hey I can bake and I'm a pretty good cook too.

Wow! Cool! I hope there was a taper....

Edit: There was a taper because parts of the show are already on bt.etree.org. Don't see Mofro or Allman Bros yet, though.

Hmm, I didn't realize the band wasn't going, only JJ. So there was no Mofro set. Looks like it was a great show. Setlists are available at http://www.xmasjam.com.

Just reading that setlist has my heart all a flutter! As if a cover of The Band's The Weight wasn't enough to cause cardiac arrest, then JPJ sitting in for Dazed & Confused was damn near enough to cause me to flat line! It seems that John Paul Jones sat in with quite a few acts for several Zeppelin covers.......and these near death experiences are completely eclipsed by the mere thought of JJ covering And It Stoned Me! Had I been there, a defibrillator would have been necessary to resuscitate me!

Just for fun, I'm posting this fantastic video of Warren Haynes with Gregg Allman. "The Sky is Crying". I guess it's not from that night though.
