I was just searching the mofro.net tour page for the radio show that is supposed to happen today -- and guess what? They posted a few shows for (late) January!!

Orlando, Tallahassee, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Dallas, Austin -- all feeling some Mofro love!! [Why, oh why, do they come to Louisiana on a school night?]

Hey y'all...

If you've never been to an Orlando show...get yo ass here for it...cause it's always a "ROWDY & READY" show fo sho!!!
Wish they were playing at the Social, as it's a more intimate venue...but we can tear the roof off the HOB!!!

Friday Jan 23rd!

If anybody is traveling to see this show & needs a place to crash, send me an email & we'll hook you up.

glad to see dallas made the list, i now have something to look forward to again, after the arkansas show i was thinking it would be another whole year or a major trip out of state to see them again. only getting to see them once a year was going to be tough. sure wish they would make a trip up i-35 to okc or tulsa even......

Junior, I'm pretty sure that's the HOB. That's where they've played before (although I've not seen them there (I agree with JohnDude that the Social is the shit.)

Y'all hang loose for Tampa dates...they'll be announced on Monday. If they're not up on the Mofro site on Monday (11/2) a.m., I'll tell you what I know (I'm sworn to secrecy...and so is anyone else who may know.)

Anyone know anything about the Engine Room in Tally? Anyone from central FLA considering the trip up? If I live through Orlando HOB, we'll be headed north for more.

Your girl huh? I've met your "girl" and I ain't so sure she'd take a liking to you calling her your "girl." Lady-yes; young lady-yes, significant other-ok; girlfriend-acceptable; fiance-if appropriate; lady friend-makes you sound 80 yrs old.

Your girl huh? I dunno, mebbee it's just me E, but it sounds so, so...1950s.

Regardless of all THAT, we're looking very forward to seeing you and your GIRL this Saturday!

1950s huh? What would you say if I told you we met on a hay ride after the Sadie Hawkins dance? It's a term of endearment, just like when you call me Snookems.

Uhhhhh, not in 10th grade. We moved up to 2 rooms when I got to 6th grade. Still one teacher though; the rooms were adjoined so she just went back and forth. When she was gone we'd put water in her ink well so her feather pen wouldn't work. It was some funny shit!

That was my goal my man!

Oh, btw, we had us a school marm that looked a lot like Debra LaFave. She was blond, about 5'10", blue eyes, large breasts, wore short skirts...too bad she was about 75 years old, 350 pounds, and had an ass as thick as an army mule.

(That's why we didn't hit on teachers in my era; plus, she didn't fck with no ruler for slapping hands. Bitch carried a hatchet.)

Alll riiiight!!! I didn't know they had put Gainesville up. Was just discussing it with the TW and we're thinking we'll drive back on Thurs from Gainesville (and HOB) and stay the night in Tally. But got plenty of time to figure it out. I do believe we're in for all 'em!

Clay...since you are an internet master. Can you check on hotel info in Tally...Maybe we could all throw in on a suite or two. You & the TW may want your own room. I'm game for sleeping on a bed, couch, floor...whatever. Liz is game too, I'll talk Beau into coming along. Firefly?...EStanely & "His Girl"?

Dunno how y'all feel about piling into a hotel suite or two, and sharing space. Just seems to make more sense financially and safety wise too. Don't want anyone driving home from Tally after a 3 night "rowdy & ready" MOFRO run.
Also after a 3 night run(and all the other FL dates) I'm gunna need all the $ breaks I can get.

Whaddy'all Think?
