Hey everbody...thank you! This is the first I've been able to get on a computer since Friday a.m. I've been going thur withdrawals to get on the board and see what's going on.
Antsy, that was great. Nipsey Russell would be way proud!
Kimberly, that was perfect. Everybody...much, much thanks. Even got where_u_at to post. WOW, I am honored!!!
Now I'm gonna check the other posts and see what's happening. If I don't chime in on any of those, I'll find a computer somewhere in the mountains in another day or two and talk to y'all then.
BTW, Soulhound, out of Atlanta, killed at a little pub in Helen GA last night. Great band. (Although the drive back to where we're staying was an hour of twisting mountain roads at 1 a.m.! ---------- MofroFan1
So True Ashley, it's not the same without him. Welcome back Clay and Happy Birthday! Hope your time off went well, was laid back, relaxing, lord knows you deserved it. Thank you much for all of your time and consideration you put into this site so that we can all enjoy it. The site has gained by leaps and bounds. It's meant more than we know for the band and all of us die hard fans. Along with turning the newcomers into die hard fans. JamBase needs to get off thier ass and tag this as Fansite of the Year.

Mofro for life in Arizona The Rhythm Room is exactly that when the boys are kicking it here. "Walking on Moonlight in the Day."
Had to make my 100th post on the best topic on the board right now. Happy Birthday Clay. Born in the same month as JJ Grey, something else. Keep it up, this site is On Fire...

I think Clay still has a few days yet before he'll be back from his adventure. Did he say he was going to the Orange Peel to see Galactic tonight? What a wonderful trip he's having!
Thanks again everyone. Had a great time in the mountains; nice to have a big change of scenery and a change of fall colors, for sure.
Galactic kicked ass y'all. I mean KICKED ASS. They really had some energy, especially considering the Peel was only about half sold out. Every one of them is fantastic, but Stanton Moore...? Well, how many times do you see a drummer come up out of his chair to pound on the cymbals? How about a drummer that uses TWO bass drums (I'm thinking he has a hidden third foot)? I was at an angle where I could see the entire drum kit, but what I counted for sure was 8 drums and 6 cymbals. How many times do you see a drum solo where the drummer gets up and slowly walks all the way around his kit 360 degrees? Stanton is incredible.
galactic, Tipitina's, jazzfest '07, pre-rappers, standing outside waiting to be let in , pourin-ASS rain, tickets dissolved in my hands, great show !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!nice sunrise!
glad to hear you had a fun and relaxing trip, clay did you find some moonshine?
