Man, I love this track. It just feels like the definition of front porch soul. You can tell JJ loves singing this song, it's so damn funky, and the laid back groove with the ladies showing some true back-up and style. Yet another track that you just can't help but dance to. JJ is really coming around with the guitar. It's more and more prevelant with each album and additions to Lochloosa live. So much that he's expanding and playing the Sitar? could that prove to be legendary going forward as it was for the Beatles, Stones and Zeppelin? Hey UHollis, have you heard the entire album? Danny O., I know you have, but with little to spill, understandable. Any chance you can hint at how much Harp JJ has in this album? I know it's on SDK, unless he decided to pull it off for the studio version. (I sure hope not) But also hoping that isn't the only new track with the "Lonliest, yet most uplifting instrument around." Only 25 more day. I remember posting when there was 50. ewwweeeee, can't wait!!

Mofro for life in Arizona The Rhythm Room is exactly that when the boys are kicking it here.
If I may say so, Holy Shit!! Where did this song come from? This may be my favorite cut on the album and I have 6 or 7 songs I've not heard yet. Good grief, how does this boy come up with these songs, over and over and over? I'm with you DT...we picked a good band to lock on to, forever. Me and 6 other fools will go up to Santa Fe so I'll hear the other new ones before you do (only 24 hours though). Sad part is that we probably cannot get to PHX this time. That means I'll miss MOFRO at the Rhythm Room for the very first time ever, going back to 2001. Gotta send my apologies to Bob Corritore. I wonder ,DT, if we ever met and didn't know it? Draft beer in plastic cups, hmmm...

Yes, jay s, you can and you did. And I second that emotion! How DOES he keep coming up with this material? I mean...the music, the lyrics, he's just so incredible. What I wouldn't give to have a thimble-full of his talent.
The sitar! Man, I did a wiki on the sitar and it is a very difficult instrument to learn to play. Where in the hell did he find time to do THAT? Amazing.
And the ladies on back-up are bad to the bone. If one of them has a familiar name, there may be good reason. Linda Cole--name ring any bells? Well, let's see...if you've spent any time in Central Florida, she's a renowned R&B singer in the Orlando area and a frequent live performer there. Second, she's got a family background in music for sure: her daddy's brother was Nat King Cole. And her son? Well of course that would be our favorite new drummer...Anthony "AC" Cole.
