Anybody going?? Where's the party???
Ya'll mark Aug 16 on your calendars and get ready for some serious swamp funk boogie. JJ Grey & MOFRO will be playing at the Hot August Blues Festival at Oregon Ridge Park in Cockeysville MD on Sat Aug 16! Headlining act is John Hiatt, also features legendary blues singer/pianist Marcia Ball, and others.

Hey 12bar...good to see you again. Good question! Ain't nothing on the schedule anywhere near Boston; hell this show in MD is as close as they get, unless you're closer to VT.
Are there any summer festivals around there where they've played in the past? Or any that fits their genre every year where they haven't played but might?

Hey 12barblues,
Word on the street is that you are getting your Boston date at the Paradise Rock Club on October 25th. New album should be out then, the boys are on a roll, should be a good time. Thats close to JJ's birthday as well. I saw them down here in AZ on Halloween, they put on a show. Enjoy and just keep on the look out for that date and when the tickets come out. As Danny, the tour manager always says, 'Keep spreading the Mofro.'
