The JJ Grey & MOFRO Summer '08 Photo Contest is on! We've got our first entry in the photo contest and IT'S A GOOD ONE.

Our first photo entry is a damned good one ya'll. Hit the photo contest link to the left to see how to view it...and take your pics and get 'em on in the contest. More 1st place prizes to be added, and 2nd and 3rd place too!

Hey Clay...is the deadline for photo entries Sept 5 or Sept 27? I see it listed both ways. Gonna try to submit pics from Santa Fe on Sept 9 and Phoenix on Sept 10 if the deadline is Sept 27. I have a photo on the Mofro website slide show already so am I still eligible?

Hey Jay,
Sheeeeit. Sorry about that. I extended the deadline date and obviously missed one of the places where I have it listed. Major oops. THANK YOU for asking and bringing it to my attention.
The new deadline to submit is 11:59 p.m. (EDT) on Sept 29. That gives anyone going to the Sept 28 show a chance to get theirs in.
I got it screwed up on a couple pages I see now. Damn...it must've been that 4th shot of whisky I did while I was updating all that the other night. (I knew I shoulda switched to beer.) Thanks again.

Indeed, in the house with some damned awesome pics are phishandbits, spauldazzio, and dweezy4. Nice job!
Okay ever-body, now there's pressure. With prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, ya'll ain't gonna let these here folks take 'em all by default is ya??? Get your pic entered--you got's til end of Sept.

Awesome pics up. I have a couple that I was going to enter but they are from a show in Asheville on 2/18 of this year, so they are a little early for the contest. Hopefully I'll be able to get some at BSR to enter!

Yeah, sorry Briggzz, can't change the rules for you--wouldn't be fair.
Are they from the Peel? My wife and I love that place. Like about 25% of Florida's population (especially natives like me), we want to live in Asheville. But I've wanted to for 20 years and it ain't happened. Visiting in Oct though!
I'd love to post them on the photos page. I'll make sure to credit you, and if you don't want them copied I can even do a no right click on them.
