Gee Where U At, take your time now! We got's to savor the knowledge and enjoy the anticipation of the upcoming event. Stay in the present, enjoy the moment.
Okay...that was my bullshit way of saying no, I don't have any info on that yet, nor would the source where I confirmed the show (I don't think.)
I'm pretty sure, though, that the line-up will include JJ Grey & MOFRO somewhere.
(Go ahead, call me a smart-ass. My wife does all the time. But I just can't help myself!!) ---------- MofroFan1
No word on that yet. I can tell you that the source that told me that it's on is VERY reliable; not someone in the band, but someone very in the know. That said, we haven't booked a room either.
BUT, we were shocked at how rooms were avail up there last year; we booked pretty far in advance, but there were vacancy signs all over the place when we got up there. (On the beach, not in town.) I thought Labor Day wknd would be much busier.
Okay thanks. I first heard that it was announced through the amphitheatre's newsletter. I checked it, but no mention. Slightly Stoopid is playing the 31st, so I was just curious. Last year we stayed at the Murder Capital Inn and we are NOT doing that this year. They were more vacancies last year but they were so expensive. I really hope this is a go. We had such a great time last year. It was a good interaction between the bands and the fans. Hope they have the VIP package again. I recommend that to all.
Hey again Peacetree. It was a great time wasn't it? We did the VIP too. Very good to do. Last year it was cloudy so it was not blazing hot (like it was the day before when we went sightseeing and melted.) But if it IS real hot, the VIP room is a great, and only, way to get cooled off--plus all the other perks for sure.
My wife and I stayed at the Hampton Inn on the beach. I can't remember now for sure, but I'm thinking it was like $120/night (we had a dandy view of the parking lot.) It's less than 10 minutes drive from the Amphitheater and also within walking distance (for most people) of Cafe 11--great buffet breakfast in the morning, great music at night.
I think they'll announce soon; my (total) guess is they're finalizing the line-up. I'll stick by my source as being 99.9% reliable as to it being on Aug 30. Ya'll can gang up and beat me with palm fronds if I'm wrong. ---------- MofroFan1

It’s 2025 and my expenses to keep this site up are just over $800/yr. If you want to help offset my expenses to keep this site up please consider pitching in a buck or 2. Much obliged!
