I swear I'm not just coming here to spam the board...i see there's no other forum to talk about other bands (why?)
but these guys deserve mention -
The Band Of Heathens
They have the same vibe as JJ Grey...mixes with The Black Crowes, a little bit of Assembly of Dust and The Band. Their new album comes out in a few weeks and all of the tracks that I've previewed are awesome

Hey man...thanks for joining up, and for the lowdown on The Band of Heathens. I've not heard them before, and I've not had time to listen to the stream you sent but I'm looking forward to it cause the comparisons you made are all great bands.
I did have a post about other bands up here a couple months or so back. I didn't get any posts to it. But the site was brand-new then so I wasn't getting much traffic either. So I'm glad you brought it up again...I'll get a new topic going for it.
Feel free to start a topic anytime you like as well.

I’m Clay/MofroFan1, the guy who started this back in 2008. Seventeen years and running and no intention of stopping because Mofro fans are the best fans ever.
