COVER SONG FANTASY SETLIST CONTEST Not to be confused with the Dream Setlist Contest, this one is for them's of us who think we have the best cover songs that we think JJ should do.  Imagine if JJ carved out the middle of a show to do nothing but covers--different ones that he's never done publicly before.  Let's say he's gonna plug 7 songs into that spot.  Let's say further YOU get to pick the songs. PRIZES *You could win a million dollars! Not here...like we got that got kind of cash lying around. So, play the lottery, enter a sweepstakes or something...and maybe you could win a million dollars. Keep in mind to keep it real.  Since JJ will select the final winner, maybe he'll also play (some of) them when they come to your town (but no guarantees on that!) Here's what you do: 1. Make a set list--in order--of your dream cover songs (in order meaning from a starting song to an encore song).  2. Keep it to no more than 7 songs. 3. Include the name of the original artist with each song. 4. Imagine as if JJ was given these some time in advance (meaning that if this were "real" he and the band would have time to learn the songs if they don't already know them) 5. Send the set list to HERE (no attachments please! Simply type into your email message.) 6. Do it by Sept 22 because that's the (extended) cutoff deadline 7. Sit back and wait to see if you win some great JJ Grey & Mofro merch, signed stuff, a shout-out here on the site, AND bragging rights because I'm gonna send the winner's setlist to JJ!* Voting will take place the week of Sept 21st-ish;  we'll have a poll here to narrow it down to the top 3 lists and then I'll forward to JJ to pick the winner.
