Sorry if this has been posted...
I just read this week's issue of folio weekly (Clay, this is our area's Creative Loafing).
Freebird Live lists J.J. Grey & Mofro in their ad for upcoming shows:
12/30-31/1-1
Not sure if that means Wednesday (12/30), Thursday, (12/31)and Friday (1/1), but I would assume so...
I can dig it...

Nice catch BSR!! Way cool. I can pretty much say with little doubt that it's a 2 night run just like last year. They won't play on New Year's Day...JJ spends that day with his family (and most everywhere is closed.) I think the 31/1-1 means that, just like last year and years before, they'll play until like 2 a.m. They usually take the stage 11:15-11:30.
There's still a tab (over in the left column) for the 2008 New Year's Eve video (that was webcast live), if it still works. I ain't checked it in a while.
You get the scoop award of the week (maybe the month...it's early!)

haha, good one, she might actually understand, but new years eve is the biggest holiday for her little business right by the pier on fort myers beach, and they have fireworks and all. she's only got a staff of 2, me being one of them, kinda can't let her hanging. gotta see

Clay, they played New Years Day in 2005 & 2007, so I wouldn't say its totally out of the question...

Hot damn, a 3 day run at the Freebird! I stand corrected (actually I'm sitting). Skott you were right they do play on the first, and the second! This is great news. Except for that hungover 5 hour drive to Ft. Laud the next day to catch the cruise. But a small price to pay!
