So I just watched the Nare Sugar Video on here wehre JJ freestyles at the end, I can tell this was a while ago, but when and where Dannnnng....does he even play Nare Sugar anymore? I think we all discussed this before and he has not in quite some time. I love that song!!! requesting Nare Sugar "Punani" please...

If you are talking about the one where he does the Jamaican Rap and sitting down playing guitar at the beginning, that is from a show at the Lincoln Theatre in Raliegh, NC. The time was 2003, April if I remember right, but definitely right on the year and the venue.
There is a Blackwater video from that show also that he does a great Harp jam as well. Also, from what I understand the entire show is on a DVD somewhere, but we have yet to locate a copy of it.

DT....I have a copy of that video somewhere and I know Klowe has a copy too as he sent me the one I have. I'll have to dig through some boxes of dvds/cds and see if I can find it.

I was talking to bowwow yesterday and told him to try to please put in a request for Nare Sugar. It has been gone from the setlists for WAY too long.

It was great to see them do Nare Sugar in Greenville!! After the show when I was talking with JJ, I told him how a bunch of us were talking about Nare Sugar and how we wanted to see it back on the setlists and I thanked him for all of us that he did.
