Lots of people have been using the google trying to find this. It's so good it deserves its own thread. JJ's voice is just so smooth. BTW, out of dozens of shows my trophy wife and I have been to in the last 3 years we can only recall 2 other shows where JJ did Tupelo Honey. And like this one, JJ's wife was in the audience on those 2 occasions. I'm thinking this is a favorite of hers.

HOLY SH*TBALLS CLAY! Are you trying to kill me?!?! Good thing, I have a portable defibrillator!:p ---------- The only thing I knew how to do Was to keep on keepin' on like a bird that flew, Tangled up in blue
That's beautiful. Explains why I never get to see him perform that song. Am just dying to hear it live. JJ is pouring his heart out to his wife while he sings that song. So sweet, melts my heart. Loving with that kind of passion and conviction -- she is a lucky lady, indeed.
Geez. I come on here to remind everybody to hit the HQ button once the vid starts and you girls are here getting all girly-girl mushy mushy and shit. Damn, now I feel cheap and dirty. I didn't say that I knew any of that for fact, it was just our observation (not that ashley's putting words in my mouth or anything. Wait. Yes she is. Stop that you!)

With a doubt - my favorite song Mofro covers. Pretty good quality video too - good job Clay! Don't forget you can hear another version of this on Adam Scone's Music Player on his website. Look for Mofro Crazy Atlanta show and it's at the end. B-U-Tee Full.
Just watched this for the first time since you posted it. You can just feel the energy come thru that video. Don't know if it was just me, but that....that was the energy that filled the air in the Orange Peel that evening. This was my 6th show and it was a special night; there was a definate different feeling to it. Maybe because it was their last show for a couple of months, maybe it was the new connection with the newest ensamble, the group of wonderful folks I met, maybe it is a new chapter in JJ's life, or the fact that I was able to share that night with my 3 very best friends. What ever it was, I am blessed that I was there to experience it.
And thanks to you Clay, capturing that energy and sharing a very special song with us all.
And a heartfelt thanks to all tapers out there, because of your dedication to bringing live music to us all; I have a copy of that whole evening and now I have the ability to relive that energy. I can feel the power of that audience, especially with the songs "Brighter Days" and "Lochloosa".
EPIC night indeed.
