Mofro is coming back to Nashville July 27 at 3rd and Lindsley. It's a smaller venue. Should be a great show. That will be 2 shows in 2 weeks for me. If anyone is interested in attending, let me know. I can tell you where to go before and after the show.

One more thing to add about the Nashville show, it should be broadcast live on the radio as part of Sunday Night Live, 100.1 FM.

Hey TN Cracka...do you know if 100.1 webcasts their Sunday nite show? It'd be great if we can listen in from anywhere.

I appreciate the link, just hopin' to hear our hometown boys tear it up. Is it 8 Eastern Standard Time, Mountain, Central? Just wondering.

Thanks Hollis for the update. I was impressed they got 10 songs in during the hour of the broadcast, the quality of which was excellent by the way.

JJ said they were going to bust loose, I knew that was going to be true, cause they were cruising through everything during the hour with very little banter, and not really any jamming, but I expected that because of the time frame.

Hope Jeff found you.

When you get a chance, can you give me the set list of the songs they did after the radio ended. I've got the first 10, so just the last ones.

Shit...they played over 20 songs and 2 encores of 5 songs total? WOW. I do hope you taped it!

i didnt tape.
there were two other guys taping though.
my friend who has played there a few times said it was the most crazy and most dancin she has ever seen at third and lindsley. seriuosly, people on the tables and chairs.
if the 11 pm sunday curfew wouldnt have hit they woulda kept goin for sure.

Fireflies
DFC
Ho Cake
Jr(good fast clap from the crowd)
--------
Jookhouse(with Where you At? call/response)
Woman
Mojo Workin
--------
Florida
6 Ways(complete with Countdown and everything)

the greyhounds were back in town for the soundcheck to catch a flight, but didnt stick around for the show.
eveyone was a great mood after the show. it was insanely hot and the band, along with everyone i was with was sweating down to there undies, jookhouse style.

Yeah, sure enough. Sounds like a joint we all gotta check out someday. And it sounds like the boys were ready to kick it hard before they all went home for 3 days. I second Antsy's emotion: thanks UHollis!

Sorry I am just now posting my review of the Nashville show. I have had a killer hangover all day. Hey Uhollis, I was one of those drunk cats dancing on a chair. I'm lucky I didn't break my neck. It was a killer show. The boys let it all out. They really fed off the energy from the crowd. Ya'll described it perfectly, it was a jook joint show. Peace!

some more thoughts from the show.....

i took 3 virgins and they are all sold, with the majority saying they hadn't had that much fun at a show in a long time.

two tapers

AC is so in the cut and on point it is amazing. he is bringin such a great energy to the band. at numerous points just laughin his face off while adam was completely destroying it.

orange blossoms, just wait. strings, horns. jj is amped about it. many great things might come out of it. just wait.

instead of dropping the new album and burning thru and out of FL with shows, they should be ending the tour in the state all honed up on the tunes.

the boulder gig looks to be about 30 minutes long, and probably 2-4 of the tunes from the album.

blackwater obviously coming soon, with four days of rehearsal beforehand. and as many of y'all have known in the past, rehearsal time doesnt come around often.

daryl was on fire, turned up nicely and throwing in the most beautiful pieces and touches all night.

Hey ya'll. Thanks for the kick ass reviews and comments. UHollis, you always come through. TN_Cracka, just glad you didn't hurt yourself and lived to dance on a table again in the future.

Hoochie Coochie Man was second to last song before end of broadcast. Set list is now posted. Sorry for the delay; I've been jamming on a deadline for work for 2 weeks that's had me real tied up. Almost through with it though!
